Title: Social Studies Teacher
Grade Level: Middle
Short Answer:
I focus on using primary sources to teach most content. A unit near the end of the year is "create an artifact" for a time period of their choosing. The toughest thing is to get middle school students to think deeper with objects. They struggle explaining the how and why.
